Hi, I’m Gabby the director of Face Apothecarium & Brow Hub ™ .

Here is my story and why I do skin!

As one of four daughters, I was raised to value self care; this practice is a powerful tool towards self-confidence, teaching me a lot about life and self respect.

The idea that we are holistic vessels, with the mind, body and spirit being so closely connected was transformative not only in the way I grew up, it moulded my values and led me into a career focussed on helping others with self care.

The health and beauty industry often is seen as a vein attempt towards perfection with many unhealthy ideals. I want to bridge the gap between toxic industry ideals and bring real, transparent and authentically honest service to my clients.

My journey began from a young age of 13 when I started work for my father at his pharmacy. Here my passion for health and wellness began to take life. I completed my education in Community Pharmacy and learnt a lot about the health industry.

My personal interest also laid in beauty so in 2006 I attended ISBT where I completed the International CIDESCO & CIBTAC diplomas & on graduation was awarded The Steiner Academy award for best client care.

Following graduation I started working with one of the largest international paramedical skin companies and further developed my skills and knowledge in skin health. This enabled me to help clients with skin issues in a holistic way and led me to develop my flair for brows.

With my love for brows growing and my desire to give clients unshakeable self confidence, before I knew my hobby became full time brow-ing! Many of you will know us previously as Brow Hub™, and while brows are still our thing, there was always a bigger vision driving me.

In 2013, I started on my journey toward better understanding skin health and enrolled to start my Bachelor of Health Science in Nutrition. Over the last 6 years I have been studying while growing Brow Hub™, not only with serving clients but expanding my vision towards education and training.

Enter 2020. I finally decided it was the perfect time to create this incredible space where skin and brows can live side by side. Our two favourite things!

Face Apothecarium is word play for the holistic treatment of skin and brows. Our signature brow styling uses a natural approach by following organic structures. While our skin treatments focus towards the intimate connections between physical, mental and emotional elements in the body. Essentially, we are your face pharmacy. Face Apothecarium encompasses our passion for health, wellness and boosting self confidence…It’s the only prescription your face will ever need!

By combining Health Science into tailored skin plans, I aim to enhance client experiences, harvest greater results and build a leading reputation for holistic skin care.
